Morehead City Fire-EMS says it received a $442,857.14 Assistance to Firefighters Grant toward a new Type III Advanced Life Support ambulance. The city’s required contribution is $22,142.86, bringing the total project amount to $465,000.
The new vehicle is intended to replace an aging 2016 ambulance. The city has not yet announced an order date or when the replacement will enter service.
